etrailer Class III Trailer Hitch Installation - 2023 Subaru Legacy- Video

Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look and installing the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver on a 2023 Subaru Legacy. Now this is what your hitch is gonna look like when it's installed on your Legacy and it's a very clean look. This bolts into the frame rails of the vehicle or at least the channeling of it. So really the structural part is all hidden behind the rear fascia, giving you a nice clean look with the only thing visible being the receiver tube opening. Now this one is gonna be a 2 inch by 2 inch, which is kind of the standard size for a lot of different accessories, which is really good 'cause you're gonna have tons of options when it comes to ball mounts, bike racks or cargo carriers. Either way, all those are gonna stay in place with a 5/8 pin and clip. more

Draw-Tite Ultra Frame Trailer Hitch Installation - 2020 Ford F-150- Video

Hey guys, it's Jake here with etrailer. Today we have a 2020 Ford F-150 that we're gonna be taking a look at and I'm gonna show you how to install the Draw-Tite Class V two-inch hitch receiver. Now if your F-150 does not come with a hitch receiver from the factory, this is gonna be a huge benefit, because typically the only option you'll have other than adding a hitch receiver to your truck is to put a ball in the bumper itself. And with that you kind of have to pick a size. The other thing is, if you've never towed with a ball on the bumper of a truck, it's really, really annoying because you don't have any ability to have any drop or rise to tow your trailer correctly. In addition to that, you're not gonna be able to use any accessories towing with the bumper, but this hitch is gonna allow you to have room for accessories like a bike rack or a cargo carrier, or specifically with this one, it's going to have a very, very high towing capacity so you can tow those trailers. more

Stealth Hitches Hidden Rack Receiver Installation - 2015 Mercedes-Benz GLK-Class- Video

Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look and installing the Stealth Hitch Hidden Rack Receiver on the 2015 Mercedes-Benz GLK Class. Now this is what your receiver's gonna look like when it's installed on the vehicle and you may say, "well, that sticks out pretty far, it's pretty unsightly," but it is a 2" by 2" receiver tube opening, which is gonna be great. The great part about this though is being a Stealth Hitch, when you wanna maintain that nice clean look of your Mercedes, you can simply unlock this top and with the twist of this handle, we can drop our receiver out and take our key with us and that's gonna give us a nice clean, hidden look when we're not using our receiver. Now I did mention that this is a 2" by 2" receiver tube opening, which is really nice. It's kind of the standard when it comes to a lot of different accessories, whether it be a bike rack or cargo carrier. And those are all gonna stay in place with a 5/8" pin clip. more

That means that the hitch receiver tube is gonna be a 2 inch by 2 inch opening, which is gonna be great because most accessories that are available on the market are going to be designed to fit two inch hitch receivers. Today we have a 2014 Subaru XV Crosstrek and we're gonna be taking a look at and I'm gonna show you how to install the etrailer Class III two inch hitch receiver. Adding the two inch hitch receiver to the back of your Crosstrek is gonna give you a lot of different options for accessories. You're gonna be able to put two inch bike racks in there, cargo carriers, ball mounts if you wanna pull a small trailer. If you plan on pulling a trailer, I'd highly recommend installing your four-pole wiring while you're doing your hitch, just so that you only have to tear into your vehicle one time. This hitch is gonna have a triple carbide black powder coat finish, which we have seen to prove that it's a very, very tough paint job. more

Hello, neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer, and today we're taking a look at installing the etrailer trailer hitch receiver on a 2021 Chrysler Pacifica. Now this is what your hitch is gonna look like when it's installed, and it is an exposed cross tube, meaning you're gonna see a good majority of the hitch hanging down below the rear fascia, but overall, it's tucked back far enough, and it's got a nice matte black powder coat finish, so it looks pretty stealthy under there, and it doesn't really detract away from the looks of the van. Now this one is a two-inch by two-inch receiver tube opening, which is a great option for a ton of different accessories, whether it be ball mounts, bike racks, or cargo carriers. You will have a huge selection. Now all of those will stay in place with a five-eighths pin and clip. This is not included with the hitch. more

Being that this is an 1-1/4 x 1-1/4 Hitch Receiver tube opening, that is going to be the size of the opening itself. It is not going to be the most common size out there on the market. A 2-inch hitch receiver's gonna be the most common size if you're looking for the most variety of accessories, but there's a couple of circumstances in which this 1-1/4 is gonna be just fine for you. The first one is gonna be like a lot of my friends, they switch from vehicle to vehicle, but all their accessories are 1-1/4 because the vehicle that they had before it, there was only an 1-1/4 hitch available for it. more

Adding a two inch hitch receiver to your Grand Cherokee is gonna allow you to do a couple different things. First off, a lot of people like to use, especially a hitch this heavy rated, they like to use their hitch to pull small trailers. And if you plan on doing that, I highly recommend installing a wiring harness on the back of your Jeep so that you can safely get those lights powered on your trailer. You can use it for cargo carriers, bike racks if you wanna mount a small winch on the back if you take your Grand Cherokee off road, some people do. more

Hey guys, this is Jake here with etrailer. Today we have a 2024 Chevrolet Equinox and we're gonna be taking a look at, and I'm gonna show you how to install, the CURT Class 2 inch and a quarter Hitch Receiver. Adding the hitch receiver to the back of your Equinox is gonna allow you to haul different accessories such as bike racks, cargo carriers, or ball mounts, if you wanna pull a small trailer. I will say if you're planning on pulling a trailer, you will want to install a wiring kit too so that you can get your trailer lighting functions from your vehicle. One of the biggest reasons why people like to go with an inch and a quarter by inch and a quarter hitch receiver tube is because they already have accessories from an older vehicle that they had that had an inch and a quarter hitch receiver. Me personally, I would go with one of the two inch hitch receiver tube options for the Equinox because it has a pretty impressive tow rating and if you ever want to pull a trailer, you can do that with it. more

Still has an overall pretty clean look. Now this is an inch and a quarter receiver tube opening. So when it comes to tubes and accessories, you're gonna be a little bit limited. Now this is also a two inch by two inch receiver tube opening, which is gonna be kind of the standard when it comes to choosing accessories. Hi, Matt with etrailer, and today we're gonna be talking about our Curt Trailer Hitch on our 2023 Cadillac XT5. This is gonna be a class three hitch. It's gonna have a two inch receiver. It's gonna be great if you have any equipment that you wanna put on the back of this, whether it be bike racks, cargo carriers, or a ball mount for a trailer. Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver Installation - 2024 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited- Video

Hello, neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer, and today we're taking a look and installing the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver on a 2024 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. Being a two inch by two inch receiver tube opening is gonna be a great option because when choosing ball mounts, bike racks, or cargo carriers, you're gonna have a ton of different options, as this is kind of the standard size for those. Now, all of those accessories are gonna stay in place with a 5/8 pin and clip, which is not included with the hitch, but many times when choosing accessories, they'll come with one. So that's something to look for. Now, if you wanna get a locking pin and clip, that's a great option if you plan on leaving your accessories on your vehicle because when locked in place, no one's gonna be able to just walk by and take the accessories. Our plate-style safety chain loops are gonna be great for hooking up your safety chains when towing a trailer. more

Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver Installation - 2024 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited- Video

Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at Etrailer, and today we're taking a look, and installing the CURT trailer hitch receiver on a 2024 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. Now this is what your hitch is gonna look like when it's installed. And from the factory, there's already a nice little notch where the hitch is gonna go, and it's gonna utilize some of the factory mounting points. It gives it a nice clean look, 'cause really you do see the bracket under here, but on a Jeep you're really not gonna see it that much, especially with the spare tire. Now this is a two inch by two inch receiver tube opening, which is gonna open it up to a ton of different accessories. Whether you're looking at ball mounts, bike racks, or cargo carriers, you're gonna have tons of options. more
